We are reaching out to notify that Microsoft is carrying out immediate maintenance to Azure Virtual Machines to address the public disclosure of a hardware vulnerability with CPUs.

What does this mean and what is the impact?
Affected Azure Virtual Machines will be restarted.

When did this maintenance begin?
This maintenance began at approximately 7AM Melbourne/Sydney time 4th of January 2018.
We will update once maintenance is complete.

Please note this maintenance is necessary due to a security update that Intel recently released and needs to be applied to any servers using an Intel processor.

Workplace IP changes Jun 8, 00:00-09:00 AEST
Due to requirements from our Australia data centre providers, the Autotask Workplace IP ranges will be changing as of 8th of June 2018.

This should not impact any agent, web, mobile or portal services in any way.


Currently, Workplace desktop must be able to access the URL: http://au.awp.autotask.net/ in order to access the Workplace server.
This URL currently points to the IPs:

156.29.115.15
156.29.115.16

As of tomorrow, this will be updated to:

Generally, as long as you can connect to the URL, you won't have any issues.

We made the difficult decision to take a subset of email accounts offline yesterday when our security team alerted us of unusual activity on one of our domains. Identified - Exchange, Skype for Business and other services tied to MPexchange on exch080 (US server) are affected.
Users receive an error "Site cannot be reached" when trying to connect to their mailboxes. Users are also unable to access Skype for Business and other services. Administrators cannot manage their account services through Control Panels. We still do not have a firm ETA as to when connectivity will be restored. We apologize for the disruption.
