Maintenance Advisory - MPexchange EXCH080
Incident Report for Manage Protect Pty Ltd
Resolved
To continue providing our customers with high service levels, Manage Protect will be upgrading all accounts from Exchange 2013 to Exchange 2019 platform. On Wednesday February 22nd, starting 6pm AEDST (GMT +11), the DNS for Front-End services on EXCH080 servers will be updated to Exchange 2019 in support of this upgrade. To avoid any service disruption after the maintenance, please make sure that all machines and systems used to connect to your Exchange mailbox(es) support TLS 1.2. Please verify that Autodiscover record is correct in your DNS. Users with mail clients/SMTP appliances connected over port 465 for outbound mail should be re-configured to use ports 587 or 25 instead. Users who are using email addresses different from their primary email address, should have SEND AS permissions assigned and configured properly. You will be receiving a separate notice with the scheduled date for the migration of your mailboxes. We recommend upgrading all old mail clients (Outlook 2010 and older) and ensuring that Outlook 2013 (and newer) clients have all available updates installed as soon as possible, and before your scheduled migration date. Please contact our Technical Support team if you have any questions.

If you are unsure if any of your customer accounts will be affected by this, our technical support team can advise you.

There is not expected to be any downtime for this part of the process.
